I thought I would share a few things about me today and found this questionnaire on a blog tonight. I also added a few questions to this to tell you a little more about me.

1. If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be?

I have always wanted to live in the mountains in Colorado Springs but the mountains of Utah would be ok too. I want to be able to see mountain out of any window in my house.

2. What's your favorite article of clothing?
Sweats.

3. Favorite physical feature of the opposite sex?
Eyes and smile.

4. What's the last cd you bought?
Toby Keith

On the computer or in the bed reading a good book.

6. Where is your least favorite place to be?
In a teacher/parent conference.

7. What's your favorite place to be massaged?
Neck and shoulders.

8. Strong in mind or strong in body?
Mind.

9. What time do you wake up in the morning?

My mixer.

SUV but with gas prices I'll keep my compact car.

14. Do you believe in an afterlife?
Yes.

15. Favorite children's book?
This is a tough question. I really don't have a favorite...I have found that I like them all for the most part. What I usually do to see if I am going to like the book is to look at the illustrations in the book first. I'm a school teacher so I look at the pictures first to see if they will interest my students.

Winter. I am not sure why but I love winter.

No tattoos. Don't like them and don't want one.

Nope.

21. The one person from your past you wish you could go back and talk to?
My grandmother. She always had fun stories to tell about her childhood and I wish I had paid more attention to them and recorded her telling them so that I could pass the stories down to my children.

22. What's your favorite day?
Saturday...I like that I don't have to do anything or go anywhere if I don't want to.

I told you that I plan to start stamping and sharing ideas with you. So to get me started, I signed up for several swaps on Splitcoaststampers. I plan on working on them this weekend so I will share with you when I get them done.

Well the first week of school since the Christmas vacation is about to end. The math remediation class is going well. There is just so much to review that it is hard to pick out what you believe they really need the review in when they really need it all.

The girls are doing great. Breanna had made the A Honor Roll (first time ever--usually AB Honor Roll). Brookelynne is just trying to survive Kindergarten. Both girls love their teacher and have learned a lot from them this year.

Ok, I haven't written anything in a few days because I have been getting ready for school to start back. I had to go back to work on Monday and students came back today. It was good to see them again. They were a little hyper from vacation but soon got back into their routine. We have 41 more instructional days before we take the FCAT. We have a group of 8th grader doing a math remediation for the next 41 days. We are rotating them between the teachers every 8 days. Each teacher will be reviewing one of the strands for math. The good thing about this is that once you have done the lesson plans for the first 8 days you just get to repeat them for the rest of the nine weeks.

I hope soon to share with you some stamping that I have done. I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I have been stamping for 12 years now and I love it. Stamping is a way of relaxing. I think it is best done with a group so you can chat and have fun. Even though you usually don't get as much stamping done.

Well, I have decided to join the world of blogging. Other than doing a couple of blogs for college, I have never done this before. Please bear with me as I give this a go.

I am a single parent of two beautiful daughters. Breanna is 8 and Brookelynne is 6. I recently finished college after 20 years. When Brookelynne was 6 months old I decided to go back and finish my degree that I had started many years ago right out of high school. My goal was to be finished and have a teaching job by the time Brookelynne was starting Kindergarten. Well I made that goal. She started Kindergarten at the beginning of this school year. I was hired to teach 6-8th grade ESE but was soon moved to an inclusion teacher instead. I like teaching.

My hobbies are scrap booking, rubber stamping, reading, cross-stitching, and playing on the computer. Well I also like to talk on the phone but I don't really consider it a hobby.

Come back often to check the updates.
